The Outdoor Program is organizing a day hike up at Anthony Lakes for this Sunday, October 2. We will be meeting at the Outdoor Program (Hoke 102) at 10:00 am on Sunday and will car-pool up to Anthony Lakes. When we arrive at the Lakes (about an hour drive) there will be opportunities to relax at Anthony Lake or to participate in a hike (2.4 mile round trip) up to Hoffer Lakes. Once at Hoffer Lakes participants can choose to spend time at the lakes, continue on hiking trails in the area, or to try rock climbing (facilitated by Outdoor Program staff). We will return back to the EOU campus at around 4:00pm.
There will be a pre-trip meeting today (Thursday, September 29) in Hoke 102 at 4:00pm. At the pre-trip meeting we will discuss the logistical arrangements of the trip as well as the recommended clothing, food etc. It is highly recommended that participants attend the pre-trip meeting.
